This complicated project involved the refurbishing of the exterior of this large shopping centre located in Montreal-North, as well as the creation of new retail space when a major tenant (Zellers) vacated their former space.
Complicated structural reinforcing of the existing building was required for the creation of new entrances, as well as the addition of much rooftop HVAC equipment. The exterior walls were clad in a mixture of EIFS and aluminum panels, all while the shopping centre remained in full operation. Much planning and coordination was required, so as to ensure that the work never interfered with the ongoing operations of the mall.
